Coulsdon is on the A23, almost exactly 5 miles north of Junction 7 on the M25 (Junction with the M23); and is about 7 miles south of Croydon. We are within the Greater London area and the transport links from London and Croydon are normally very good.
DRIVING:
There is a public car park in Lion Green Road which is relatively cheap. The parking bays in the stretch of the road outside the venue are free on any
day before 9am and after 5pm, all day on Sundays but not at any other times (do
not park in them even on Good Friday and Bank Holidays unless it the payment
machines indicate you can). If you want free parking nearby, please look
in Portnalls Road, Chipstead Valley Road (once you go round the corner heading
west from the venue), Coniston Road, Sherwood Road, Vincent Road, Portnalls
Rise. Yellow lines are free after 7pm.
TRAINS:
The nearest stations are Coulsdon South and Coulsdon Town (formerly Smitham), both about 6-7 minutes walk
from the venue. Travelling from London, if nothing is shown direct, get
the first train to East Croydon. Trains for Coulsdon Town normally leave from
Platforms 5 or 6 with trains to Coulsdon South from either 3, 5 or 6). At
most times of day (except Sunday), there are 6 trains an hour out of Coulsdon (4 per hour
for Coulsdon South and 2 for Smitham). See National
