SEASON 2018-2019    -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Brian Allan, Qaiyum Khan, Harry Gold, David Gray, Arthur Meaton (Capt).
Position Championship: 4 of 6.
Comments Things were looking glum for them after 5 rounds with 3 defeats and a 2 draws in their first 5 games, but a dramatic recovery saw them get 2 wins from 2 in the final 3 rounds to pull themselves clear of the red zone.
SEASON 2017-2018    -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Brian Allan, Qaiyum Khan, Harry Gold, David Gray, Arthur Meaton (Capt).
Position Championship: 5 of 8.
Comments It was another mediocre season and 2nd successive 5th placed finish in the middle division.  They started and ended with defeat, only losing 1 other match during the season.  Ironically, 1 of their 2 wins came in the only match of the season where they defaulted a board.
SEASON 2016-2017     -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Brian Allan, Qaiyum Khan, Harry Gold, David Gray, Arthur Meaton (Capt).
Position Championship: 5 of 8.
Comments For a chunk of the season they looked like they might slip into the 3rd tier of the competition, but a win in the penultimate round gave them just enough to help them survive on the final week of the season, finishing as top of 3 teams on 11 points; the bottom of which finished in a potential relegation place.
SEASON 2015-2016     -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Brian Allan, Qaiyum Khan, Harry Gold, David Gray, Arthur Meaton (Capt).
Position Championship: 6 of 8.
Comments They spent most of the season challenging for promotion, but faded away but losing the last 3 rounds left them sitting one place above the red zone at the end.  They were the only team to have exactly the same squad as the previous season.
SEASON 2014-2015     -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Brian Allan, Qaiyum Khan, Arthur Meaton (Capt), Harry Gold, David Gray.
Position League 1: 4 out of 6       Cup - Won Plate
Comments Victory in the Plate Final compensated for a mediocre season in League 1; but that could easily have been worse after they started their league program with 2 defeats.  A win a 2 draws ensured that they finished outside the relegation zone.
SEASON 2013-2014     -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Brian Allan, Harry Gold, David Gray, Qaiyum Khan, Arthur Meaton (Capt).
Position 6th out of 6 - Championship       Cup - Lost in Plate Quarter-Final
Comments On results, It was a very poor season in the end and only 1 draw in the league saw them relegated to League 1 in bottom place, although most of their defeats were by the odd point.  The knock-out event saw little difference with defeat in the quarter-final of the plate.
SEASON 2011-2012     -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Brian Allan, Harry Gold, Qaiyum Khan, Arthur Meaton (Capt), John Sheekey
Position 2nd out of 10 - Championship
Comments Collation of a couple more players really strengthened  the team during the summer and they managed to finish 2nd, thus securing a place in the "middle" division for next season.  Two wins were followed by 2 defeats including one to the eventual champions but 3 wins at the end completed a good season overall.
SEASON 2010-2011     -     KNIGHTS OF OLD
Players Callum Hayes, Qaiyum Khan, Arthur Meaton (Capt), Peter Neary, Ola Oke, Mayukh Padhi, John Sheekey
Position 7th out of 8 - Championship
Comments The aim of the team was to gather together some "senior" players to bring a team full of experience to the event.  That will be the long term plan but for this year, Arthur signed up one or two younger players to ensure matches went ahead.  A decent start was followed by 3 successive defeats before another win came along.  Defeat in the final game of the season left them in the bottom 2, however this is less likely to be the case next season!
