All start times after the morning rounds should be considered provisional where a player involved is playing more than 1 game in a day.
If their "previous" runs on, they are entitled to a gap of up to......
1 HOUR IN THE NORM EVENT & ELITE SWISS   or    30 MINUTES IN THE SECTIONS FOR ALL EVENTS
.....before being obliged to start their next game.  Opponents enter on the basis of agreement to this.

All events are part of the ECF Grand Prix except the Junior Training days.

All English entrants for "adult" events must provide their current English Chess Federation Membership membership Number.
All non-English players must be at least ECF Bronze or face a 10 surcharge per event.
New players to the FIDE system not registering as England must provide us with enough time to obtain a new FIDE reference code for them if needed.

NORM ROUND ROBIN EVENT(S) This will be a 10 player round robin event with 9 rounds over 5 days - we intend it to be primarily for GM/IM norms.  Should there be enough demand, we will look to run more than 1 such event.  Those with a GM / IM title are invited to contact us to apply for a place.
ELITE SWISS This will be 5 rounds in 5 days.  We have deliberately set a minimum rating on this event - applicants must have, at some point in history, had a published FIDE Long Play Rating of 2000 or higher (this allows players who have been unlucky enough to have dipped at the wrong moment to be eligible).  We have done this to prevent it being flooded by too many "wannabe" players who will bring the average rating of the field down and frighten off the 2000+ players from wanting to play, thus defeating the object of the event.  They have the "Sections for All."
SECTIONS FOR ALL EVENTS There are 3 events (all with 1 round per day) open to players rated below 2000.  These will all be sub-divided subject to entries.  The "A" event is a 4 rounder in the mornings.  The "B" event is a 5 rounder in the afternoons.  The "C" event is a 5 rounder in the evenings.
