All players must be at least GOLD members of the ECF to play in this event; no choice for English players! Non-English players will be asked for an entry subsidy if not Gold.
Those registering new under another federation must obtain a FIDE Identification number (FIN) from their chosen federation before playing a match.

Players with FIDE ratings and ECF grades must be below BOTH limits to be eligible for the lower section – this is to hopefully reduce the likelihood of sharks in that section! CCF reserves the right to move any player into the higher section where it is in the best interests of the competition and/or where grades/ratings change before the start of the event.
